pistons : endyn 9.5:1 or JE 10.0:1 for jrsc h22a
i've decided that i'm gonna build the thing. sending the block to golden eagle on tuesday to get bored, sleeved and decked. i'm staying with the stock 87mm bore.
contrary to what i heard earlier, JE does have the h22 stock bore 10.0:1 piston in stock, on the shelf, ship same day. ditto for endyn and 9.5:1 pistons.
i know the endyn pistons are wiseco pistons refinished/reworked. what would you guys suggest for this setup? i'm looking at pushing around 9psi of boost, around 250whp.

Why do you want to stay with OEM bore?
Bore the block out ... even just a little.
Also, I would go with the 10.0:1 piston. You will have no problems on the bottom end. Just make sure to have the engine DYNO TUNED.
I'm gonna run 9.8:1 compression on my turbo motor and will push 15+ PSI.

i'm not game to wait 4+ weeks for custom pistons, and the additional few percent of torque from an 88 or 88.5mm bore isn't really worth it to me. going up to something like 90mm would be interesting, but i won't want to risk it (head gasket!)
looks like i'll be going with the JEs... anyone else?

You have the displacement! Go for 9.5:1 or more less to 9:1. There is room when you like to upgrade boost. The damn compressed air af the d*** JRSC is sooooooo insane hot, that a lower cr is even better.
You have a roots charger, so a lower cr is not the world.

displacement... heh... i must admit, it's tempting to bore it to 90mm!
i know with turbos that extra half point would buy me a few more pounds of boost, but i don't think on a JRSC it's that great of an idea - the power lost by the compression might be less than the gain in going from 9 or 10 psi to 11 or 12....
