Well, it's sounds more like your being forced to rebuild. Cracked a ring/ringland or something?

If so, your piston size is going to depend on the condition of your stock sleeves. I'd probably look for something at (81.5) .20 over and bore and hone the sleeves.

If you have the cash to buy iron ductile sleeves then I'd probably change the quench area and get something around 83mm. This may not be the optimal size for the JRSC because it may lower your boost a bit and the charger doesn't have much to spare. But I can't see myself with a built block and keeping the Charger for long. 250whp on a built block....yuck. It would be a nice size in preparation for turbo though....in case the charger dies.

Also, don't forget to keep the pistons compression ratio up near stock levels. Lower compression may help with detonation but it kills boost. Let's say you bought a CRV pulley for 10lbs of boost but your compressions now lower, and your quench area is bigger and that 10lbs pulley only nets you 7lbs.....that would be enough to **** me off.

Either way, good luck.
