you dont need a 44mm unless you plan on running low boost . also it depends on what turbo.

Re: quick wastegate question? (komat)
right the turbo im using is as follows just bought it yesterday here is the advert for it-
This is a brand new Garrett hybrid turbo. This turbo is rated for 650 hp. This turbo is for someone that wants to have a really fast car. The compressor wheel that this turbo has is a GT40 the same compressor wheel as the new Garrett GT35R. This compressor wheel is from the new technology of Garrett. Also this turbo has the latest bolt down 360 degree thrust bearing design. This essential design ensures a long life, even under the most brutal racing conditions.
Turbine specs:
T3 6 bolt outlet turbine housing .83 A/R
76 trim T350 turbine wheel (stage 5)
Compressor Specs:
T04E housing 2.5" inlet 2.5" outlet
56 trim GT40 compressor wheel 2.41/3.22 (61mm inducer) and flow 65lb/min
Divided Turbo Flange
I will probably turn boost down to like 10 or 12 psi for everyday driving etc and turn it up at the track or on street etc

is that a sc61 turbo??
anyway if you plan on running 10psi. you should be fine with a 38mm. it may spike up a psi or two.

Re: quick wastegate question? (komat)
dont think so! its made by garrett and i think sc61 are made by precision iirc! i heard the limitations of a 38mm wastegate are like 500whp and anything after that they tend to spike quiet alot! i may want to boost more in the future! so am i right in thinking that a 44mm or 50mm wont hurt? thanks for the help by the way
