Default Pics of the Starion IC that I just finished working on

I bought this Intercooler about a month ago REAL cheap, but it was in pretty bad shape. I straightened out pretty much all of the fins, and JB welded the piping on the endtanks. It's by no means perfect, but I'm pretty happy with how it came out considering the condition it was in before. Any commments are welcome

Pressure tested to 15psi and it held fine. I made sure of that before I spent a dollar on it

I went to Homedepot and bought some 22 gauge steel sheet metal, dremeled off the size/shape that I needed to cover the stock holes, and JB welded it on. When I bought the IC it already had 2.5" holes cut on the end tanks for piping, but I'm only using 2 1/8", so I bought two 2 1/2 - 2/18 reduces from advance auto and JB welded them on. After everything was on and dry, I got some aluminum engine enamel to paint the endtakes and piping with, so it wouldn't look to ghetto. Overall I'm very happy with it, espically when I look at the before and after pics

Yeah dude, now instead of costing me an arm and a leg, boosting my LS is just costing me an arm... or something...

Black would have been very stealth, plus hide all the nicks and dings.

But great job. What kind of turbo do you have pushing through it?

60 trim T3. I know it's a little on the small side, but this is for a daily driver, and it meets my power band goals well

Pliers and a Multitool, dude, two of the best tools ever created (right next to the Dremel)

Oh yeah, it took about 3 hours... I just listened a bunch of Chris Rock and George Carlin stand up

Nice work john, now Keith and I can stand around your garage "helping" you install it, after you get the manifold. No I really will help this time.
