Pics of my new Gt40...............202!!
Well........after much debate I finally decided to go BIG! We were going to go with the gt4067 but i got a deal on this turbo i couldnt pass up. My last setup consisted of:
85mm ls/vtec
sleeved of coarse with eagle/wisecos
hp racing intake
pnp head with stock valves(3 angle)
My custom Slowmotion ramhorn with 3" dp and t3 .63 ar blowzilla
stock gsr cams and stock tb.
Car was tuned by Correy Parrish at Slowmotion to 468whp on 18.5psi on pump gas. The headgasket ended up going so we decided to sell those components and go big.
The bottom end will remain the same with the exception of a few changes. I got an all stock b16 head that is getting reworked due my gsr head being messed up by the previous owner...long story. I will be getting cams but im not sure what to go with yet cuz itr cams cost almost nearly as much as aftermarket cams?
Anyways, I will be fabricating a custom Shearer Fabrications divided collector top mount for this turbo with twin 38mm gates...it will be the first honda manifold by us at Shearer. Anyway, heres the pics.
Big thanks go out to my boss Ron Shearer for hooking me up with the new snail.

Thanks Ox64....the goals are about 2.5 times that lol. I dont have the fuel system to support this turbo but thats going to change this winter but a little confused on how to set it up with cost in mind. There are just so many options? I think I know its going to be a dog under 6k but any big turbo vtec motor doesnt really come alive until then anyways......but after driving t3 turbo hondas then driving some t4's.......night and day! Ill never go back to t3 lol

that is was people think. I got 50psi at around 6krpms.. Yes, I said 50psi. It was an accident..lol But that also has to do with how the manifold from full-race was designed.

Probably best bet would be 1000cc primaries with 1600cc secondaries and a driver box. I know over 30lbs / 740whp a frind's PT-67R put him at 89% duty cycle with his 1.9 with 1600cc alone

No we're not planning on running any type of classes with this setup. The rest of the car isnt setup to run in a class either. Mostly we're just going to F&*^ around at my local track and race bikes on the highway. I'm waiting on the cylinder head to get finished up and then we can put the long block together. Afterwards we're going to flatbed the car up to Shearer and start making the custom top mount for it...ill keep it updated. thanks guys! I cant wait!!

That sounds about right...just not this turbo.
