- PICS - My new custom SOHC T3 manifold!
I'm ditching my 16G setup for a T3 (Expect that to change if I find a good t3/4 sometime in the near future) and this is the final piece before I hit the dyno to tune my beast. I gotta schedule 2 days of my vacation time to have the new charge piping, downpipe, and all the other quirks in prep for the dyno.
I'm looking at major disappointment if I put out low numbers. I'm aiming for ~15-18psi daily.
I tried for 3 months to find a used sohc manifold and finally gave up and had one made. San Diego's Pann Auto put this one together for $300:
can't forget my pooch

Looks great, can you keep AC with it? I would think so but not for sure. 15-18[si daily, wow man. Just keep it cool!

Dunno if it'll keep AC because I never had AC in the car! There is alot of room in the front anyway being it's a sohc. I'll assume it'll fit.

Nice Pritos! Who did you deal with there? Thomas? The only reason I ask is b/c he's my uncle. When I was in the process of ordering a turbo, he was in the process of fabricating his own turbo kit for sale. I couldn't wait, so I went with the DRAG kit.

Yep, that's him! Ever since then, I haven't heard anything from him about the custom kits. From what he told me, it was going to be very similar to the DRAG kit.

Ah Thomas, I'm always hoping to be served by him. A reallly nice guy.
Actually, I dealt with Chris since it was 'his' friend who is making the manifolds for them.

Definately a nice guy! I've been meaning to get back over there recently. I last visited in May and July. He has a long history with my family. It's just kind of hard to get over there being that I'm in Auburn, Alabama! Next time you go in there, tell him you know Frank from Alabama and he'll probably tell you what a knucklehead I am.
