Default PHX42 Turbocharger finally released!

There's been a lot of guys waiting for this...
Well, after half a season of testing on what we believe to be one of the most abusive setups out there, the PHX42 turbocharger is finally available for release!
Two prototype units were sent to Marcos Acosta for testing on their 3rotor Mazda Pro-RWD truck. We choose this platform to test on for 2 reasons, (1) Rotary engines have the largest turbocharger failure rate, usualy due to oiling, and (2) these guys push very high boost...!
Since we had lots of reports of failure from other turbo builders, on these larger class limit turbos, we wanted to make sure that these would hold up under heavy stress.
As soon as these turbos were bolted on, they were taken to the dyno and tuned up to 40PSI, and made a port limited 1240whp! BTW This 1240whp is the highest HP# in this class. way to go guys!

PHX42

PHX42 vs. TO4R

The PHX42 comes standard with a Big Shaft, and is available in any T4 turbine housing of your choice, with your choice of P-trim, GT-Q or GT-S.
We can also offer this in a T3 Turbine with our new T3P option, with your choice of .63 a/r or .82 a/r!!

Please feel free to post or PM me with any questions

Awesome turbo! Little too big for my dohc ZC, but mad bump for all your pro-am guys and gals out there.

Im guessing this is comparable with the gt42r and pt71gtq eh?

So they made 1240whp with a single 70mm turbo? I know rotaries are very inefficient with both fuel and air, so this turbo is capable of over 1250whp on an efficient piston engine?

+1 on another reason we tested them on the rotary engine.

sorry for any confusion, but it was a twin setup.

Can you make a gt42 compressor wheel with gt40 turbine wheel? I think that would be a impressive combo.

How does this turbo with a P-trim compare to a straight GT42R. Or similarly, with the GTQ turbine wheel?
