Default PeakBoost D series turbo manifolds.. What do you think?

Just trying to see what you guys think about these. You are the best critics and I think we can get more feedback here than thru the fab forum.

Pricing is fairly good. Go the sponser marketplace and take a peep.

looks great, but a lot of money.

for some reason i have it n my head that d-series stuff shouldn't be as expensive as b-series. i have no idea why i think like that. maybe becuase the b is that more superior.

it costs the same to make a good manifold or wutever compared to a b-series. piping might be smaller for teh smaller displacement but should be pretty close i would guess

I could buy two motors for the price of that manifold. But I like it none the less. I love that people are making things for D series motors.

But I always see "no love for the D series" or "I would love one for my D series". Then when a company shows some support for the D series ... ... ...

Trip?

I think it is great that a companies are showing some love for the D. Just expressing my opinion on it, I can't ever afford one. I think it would be great for a built high HP D. I would love to see one installed and some numbers!

personally i think that turbo is too big for a D series , ask me how i know

most people that buy kits usually have a stock motor im only taking into consideration for them . but on a built motor the gt35 rocks.

The manifold looks awesome...

But for me, the price is much too high... maybe after I start making some more money...

It looks good and I'm sure it's a quality manifold, but all I see is $100 in material selling for $750.

I see the same thing when I look at a full race manifold... except it's $100 in material selling for like $1200.

if you spent $$$$(notice four of them) on a tig welder, you'd charge a shitload too

Same thing with anything you buy, Know what the average markup for electronics is? its 300% so at a place like best buy a $3000 flat screen only costs them $1000.
Everything you buy has a mark up for a reason.
If they are overpriced that means they are easy to build so why dont you and start selling them for $250.

Do you weld? do know know how much it costs to run a tig welder? filler/gas?
What about the jigs they use?
what about the man hours?
what about shop equipment? (chop saws, cutoff wheels)
Overhead?(employes,bills,debts)
general shop bills?(electricity,heat,AC)
Still wonder why they charge more then $4 more then it cost to make.
