Parts I will still be able to keep when I go turbo ?
I know that I will not be having a need for a CAI nor a header when I go upgrade to a turbo. I was wondering in terms of engine modifications - what can I updgrade without losing it when I put a turbo on my car? I know I can work on suspension and such, but how about performance wise. Thanks.

How about you just list your mods and we'll tell you which to keep, ok. It'll be easier that way. Basically your asking for a shopping list right now.
I could say.....
Keep your eagle rods
sleeved block
3" exhaust
cam gears
hondata
clutch
blah, blah blah--you get the point.
LIST YOUR CURRENT MODS!!

Besides the altezzas and interior strobe lights.. All I have is a AEM CAI. I'm buying a turbo in a year or two and I just want to have things prepped. Like have the car still driveable w/ the modifications and I could just drop the turbo. A shopping list is good though. Thx LSivic.

I would recomend upgrading the ignition (msd box, wires, distributor cap, external coil), cam gears, upgraded radiator, fuel rail, adj fuel reg and guage, if you dont plan on getting a stand alone ecu later you could get an afc/vafc, also any guages except for egt guage could be hooked up now, but boost gauge on your car with no turbo is going to make you look like a poser... I'm sure there is more but this is all I can think of at the moment...

I'd have to disagree with the ignition recommendation. Any ignition upgrade is a waste of money unless you are pushing 400+ horsepower. Don't get me wrong, we still sell tons of ignition products everyday but I wouldn't recommend it.

if you are planning for turbo, save your money, you can start buying other stuff, like boost controller, gauges, and etc
A lot of this has to do with the fact that what works for NA won;t work well with boost...
save your money, and start going towards your goal

I read a post on here about the Greddy EVO exhaust was too small. It isn't 3 inches. Is a 3 inch exhaust ness. for a turbo?

on a serious note, expect to gain 10-20 hp with 3" from a 2.25"

I see around here that magnaflow and some other brand of exhaust are popular. Any 3 inch exhausts out there I should look out for that will bring me considerable gains w/ turbo?
Thanks for everyone who replied so far!

Stuff you could add which won't help your performance but will need later anyway for turbo so if you find them cheap are:
FMU
inline fuel pump
Missing link
larger injectors(310cc or less)

As for the intake manifold.. What are good brands for that? I've seen JD Elderblock?, Skunk2, and CTR manifolds for sale on a website - what are people's opinions on those?

However, when the c-speed integra was running a turbo b18c1 set-up @12-14 psi, they didnt net much horsepower but gained ~ 15 ft/lbs when they added a skunk 2. just a little FYI. I would look for some dyno's if you want to pursue this.
Flamenco is right though. Save your cash so that you can reach your goal. and if you havent set one yet, it is the first thing you must do.
Good luck
