thats a exhaust evac. is uses the vacum of the exhaust passing that fitting in the header collector to draw on the crank case. http://store.summitracing.com/...iew=1

V8 thing, I have not seen it on a 4 cyl.. wonder if it would be worth a try.

it works fine v8 vs 4cyl it doesent matter at all this method has been arround a long time and works well no catch can to mess with, burns the fumes in the exhaust

Weve done it on a bunch of motor hondas and a few turbo hondas, works well.. not as bling as a cool guy catch can.

Easiest Crank Case Vapor Removal system ever:

1) Pan E-Vac Kit or any other metal check valve that can be welded to the header.
2) Z10 Oil Cap - Replaces oil cap, but has a fitting on top to run a SS braided line.
3) Fittings and SS Line

Run the line from the oil cap to the Pan Evac Kit

That's what im using, plus a normal catch for the oem PCV system.

Hey biotch,

I've seen it on some N/A cars I've researched. I haven't heard any amazing stories about what it should do for you.

StOOpid is usually on point though.

ya I have see it on some all motor cars I was just wondering if it works as good as a catch can and if it can be used on a daily driven car.

I've used this setup on many v8 drag motors and even some stock car engines. It will add power by producing a vacume in the engine. This helps ring seal and reduces pumping losses.Be sure to follow the directions on mounting the pipe in the exhaust. It must be welded in at the angle the say.The Z-10 cap is a good idea because you want to reduce the chances of oil getting sucked out the exhaust.

This sounds like a good idea, but I wouldn't install it prior to the cat, if the car has one. I think you'd just be asking to gum it up. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Thankfully us here in the Midwest don't have emission checks as stringent as you do in Cali!

Does anyone have pics of this installed on a Honda engine? I'm very interested in this because I've never heard of it.

Re: Pan E-Vac Kit (SiRex91)

This will only work if you don't have any type of exhaust restriction. Otherwise backpressure will render this system useless.

i know someone using this set up, i and guess he was having probs after the runs. if you dont put it in neutral after the pass and keep it in gear to rev down there were issues with it, but he said it worked well under load. i gotta get more info from him . it was Delsohnracing on here.
