Painting A Turbo Manifold

Painting A Turbo Manifold
Ok so I have a crappy rusted looking log turbo manifold. I am tired of looking at it and so I was wondering is it possible/safe to get some high heat paint and paint the manifold? Or is that not a good idea? If I should do this, sand it a little first to try and get some of the surface rust? Please voice your opinions, good or bad. Thanks.

2000F ceramic, reflects heat, proects from rust, needs no more than a very thin coat. Since it goes on very thin, it means it won't crack or chip off as easy as thick 'BBQ/Grille paint" normally will.

I've painted manifolds with the 1500-2000 degree stuff from VHT and it's always held up nicely. You just need to follow the instructions about proper curing.

Sounds interesting. I will look into this. Just dont feel like ordering nothing, rather just go to advance and pick it up.
