Default painting my FMIC?

Im getting ready to underglow my installation for my turbo kit, and I was wondering if its okay for me to paint the FMIC black with flat can spray? I have all the **** to do it but I was jsut worried there may be flow issues or something, I just want to hide it behind my bumper, and the black to keep away theives..

Any suggestions welcome..
