painting charge pipes black

painting charge pipes black
if i paint my charge pipes black, will this make the intercooler less efficient? i guess what i am saying is with heat attracting to black will this affect performance. any ideas or experience with black charge pipes would help

I painted mine black but used hightemp paint so if the pipes get hot, the paint should hold up... I haven't had a problem so far...
