you can chip any obd1 ecu..no matter if its sohc or dohc/ or vtec or non vtec it all can be changed and formatted for your application

if you have the stock GSR intake manifold then you should have an OBD1 P72. (the P72 has the output for the IAB, P30 does not)
if you dropped in a different intake mani then the tuned P30 will work fine.

well yes i do have the stock mani on it but i dont have the iab wired up anyways. cool so i should have no problems with a tuned p30. what do you guys recomend for a tune(what program) i dont really have the $ for hondata right now. ill be running rc440 injectors with the turbo set to about 8-9 psi.

bump because i have this setup and i have a funky idle only when i throw in the virgin jdm p30. It revs up and down from 1100 to 1500 when i come to a stop after being warmed up and then it goes away until the next stop. When i plug in my normal obd1 p72 ecu it idles perfect at 850 and I have clean tb and im gaskets and no leaks, and clean iacvs and everything. It only does this when i plug in the jdm p30 to my obd1 b18c1 w/ s2 IM
