Owned a mustang today
Got off my local freeway and turned onto another 4 lane biway. this primered 87-93 5.0 foxbody running bigs and skinnies, monster tach, gauge pod, and cowl hood pulled out of taco hell right as i was passing. i was a little intimidated at first but thought what the ****, should be interesting. pulled up next to the dude casually, he looked over and didnt seem to care. (im runnning an open DP mind you, and my car looks bone stock) we were only doin about 45 and i was in 5th gear. gave it a little throttle trying to get the turbo to make some noise.
downshifted into third, built some boost and let off. he immediately looked over and smiled. he downshifted. by this time we were doin about 50. he looks over and said 3 honks. i honked it off. due to the fact i was in third, it took a century for me to spool, but by the time i was at the top of 3rd i was right back at his door. shifted into 4th and pulled bus lengths.
went again, this time clutch slipping, brake boosted a bit and it was game over for him. he yells out the window, "that thing is the ultimate sleeper" gave the thumbs up and we went out seperate ways. my first official kill.
my car: turbo LS integra 57 trim@ 10psi

Nice kill. Sounds like the Mustang owner was your typical fox body idiot owner that does their mods in this order... flowmasters > 5" tach > cowl hood > primer paint! That car probably had 260rwhp.
Now you can build a 5.0 to run good. Here is my old setup... (excuse the belt)
456rwhp N/A pushrod V8 with a 7,000rpm shift point.

Re: Owned a mustang today
Kinda happened to me before, Fox body Mustang, all white, Big radials in the rear, smaller ones up front, I was going to go my normal way home, but I saw how eager he was to get behind me. so i got on the freeway and waited til he pulled up, but instead, he did a DOMESTIC FLY-By, but my reaction time was a little early(already downshifted) by the time his door got to my headlights(94 Integra GSR-T) I can see his hands bending his steering wheel as if it was a motorcycle throttle... 2 Limos 1/2 BTW

Pick on something worth video taping, like 600 bikes.
Usually forums don't like talk about race activity due to stigma, stereotype, and press. When in reality, why would any production car have more than 200hp and a speedometer that goes to 160mph if people didn't race. Technically the minivan mom racing a guy to get over from the merge lane ending is, racing.
Political correctness is an infection.
