OT : Protege Mazdaspeed fuel management ??
Sorry about this off-topic question... but im trying to help my brother to build his car and we cant fing something that have been proven on his car as a fuel management. For Honda we have plenty of good choice but im really disapointed about the Mazda scene... this car have a really good platform.
Also anyone know if this car have a strong stock engine or we should do the basic pistons/rods upgrade... but again its hard to find ?
Thanks for the help, I hope that we will find something.

you might want to look into the Uni-Chip.
i havent had the chance to use one yet, but the guys at ModaCar use them regularly with great success.

I'm in the same boat for my Volvo. Trying to find something that's been proven to work for my application is tough. (for a reasonable price anyways) I wonder if uni-chip will do a 5cyl with sequential injection.
What's the HP goal for the car? i'm not sure what that motor can handle, but once you have a goal and then work to find what parts you require to meet that goal.

It would be around 275whp or so... well a fun and reliable street car. I also heard that this engine is not that strong. I cant understand why Mazda used a T25 on a 2.0 liters engine... after 4000rpm the engine breath more air than what the turbo is pushing thats completly stupid. I also think that they dont used forged piston... At least the DSM enginers were smart for that...
