OT:Help with calculating how much I file piston rings?
Guys, I still need to file my piston rings. The thing is, I'm not too good with Math and its formulas. Can you guys help me out with it?
so for turbo applications they say to take the bore x .006"
My bore is 81mm plus .20 over....I don't know how to convert MM to INCHES and all that stuff...From what I figure, I have to take that 81mm plus .20 over bore and multiply that by .006" HOw do I find that out?

Basically take a 3" bore x .006 add a couple and set your upper ring at .020" to .022". Second ring goes at about .015-.017"
