OT: Checklist for returning my car to N/A?
I'm finally selling my Greddy turbo kit after almost 3 years of boosting on it.
Don't worry, I'm not selling out. My new setup is a Precision SC50/ramhorn manifold/Tial 35mm WG/Uberdata/3" DP/etc...
I feel silly asking this, but it's been so long since I put the turbo kit on, that I want to make sure everything is properly removed to get my car running N/A again. I am on stock injectors and fuel pump with the blue box, so that makes it easier.
Here's my list of what needs to be done (let me know what's missing):
- Re-install stock exhaust manifold with o2 sensor (already got it)
- Re-install stock, untapped D16Y8 oil pan
- Re-install stock oil pressure sender into block, remove T-fitting w/oil feed line
- Change oil and filter
- Re-install stock intake & airbox
- remove blue box, and re-wire the MAP sensor to stock wiring setup
- re-do vacuum lines so that only the FPR runs to the IM. Other than that, there shouldn't be any other vacuum lines running anywhere right?
- Remove all intercooler piping, couplers and clamps.
Anything else???
It's been too long

Why are you putting the stock oil pan back on? Just keep it and buy a block off fitting to cap it up for the time being.

I currently have a tapped Z6 pan on my Y8 motor, that I got with my current turbo kit. It has the Greddy return fitting for rubber hoses, and I plan on using the right oil pan this time, with the proper braided lines and fitting.
Plus, I'm selling the tapped pan with the turbo kit.

Just want to comment on the 3 years of boost, nice
What kind of power were you running, how often did you beat on it, and did you run into any problems whatsoever?
Thanks.
