Default Opinions please JE or Mahle?

Well I have built maybe 5 b-series motors and looking for some suggestions.
I will be building a b20 vtec. going to run a 9:1 piston for a vortech blower approx 8lbs of boost.

The guy I am building it for said he was told that Mahle is better than JE cause sometimes JE's pistons fail crack or what not.

Anyone experience this?

Build will be std bore, unless we do mahle than has to be 84.5mm. eagle rods, arp head studs, stock headgasket, ported head. IM so on and so on.

Concstructive comments are the only was nessecary. Thanks

honestly im sure you wont be making enough power to break either piston so just pick one.

Thanks for your input. I am interested in the quality of the piston at this point. Not the fact that it may or may not break on this set up. I have always been happy with je but customers choice

I have MAHLE pistons in my 84.5mm B16 Turbo. Been running for 3 years now, no problems. Recently took the head off to change headgasket and there was no scaring on the walls or anything. I will soon be building a LS and will be using MAHLE again...
