That's really pushing it to the limit tho isn't it there rated for 700hp max did you run that setup frequently or was it a one time kinda thing ?

Nikoboost, Perhaps if you can tell us the purpose of your LS-VTEC, what your power goal is, what fuel you're running, etc. This would make this discussion go much more smoothly.

re: Opinion's Needed: A 62mm Turbocharger for an LS/VTEC internally reinforced engine
I'd honestly use something slightly smaller than a 62mm turbocharger, have better control at about 430whp on 93 octane, with less "peaky" power, and you'll have a much better powerband. Get to something about 56-60lbs/min, and you'll be golden.
It's funny when so many people get walked on by smaller turboed/displacement cars with less power over the whole "6262 OMG!!! 500whp on shitty gas".. especially from someone with a turbo about 50lbs/min, similar build as what you propose and less power. Better to work with.

IMO 500 HP is more of a track car then a "sunday driver" only thing I can recommend is taking a ride in a 500+HP honda then a 350-400HP honda its kinda something you need to experience, I prefer a wider powerband, let alone all kinds of traction issues

re: Opinion's Needed: A 62mm Turbocharger for an LS/VTEC internally reinforced engine
Makes sense I just got the turbo as part of deal with someone maybe I'll hold off on using that and get something smaller
and yeah I know 500hp is too much for a Sunday driver but I will barely use the car for the streets maybe take it to the odd local meet

We're not going to change our mind on the 62mm simply because you're reiterating your "frequency of use". That's not the focus of this . You're asking us about using the 6262 on your LS/VTEC, our answer is a resounding NO...
