Well I've decided to get tuned running open downpipe until I can get my 3" exhaust. my question is: will i need to get retuned when i bolt the 3" up?

how long is it going to be until u get the exhaust... i dont recommend running open downpipe for longer than the trip to your muffler shop... that can get dangerous... specially of there is condensation that goes up the downpipe and gets into the valve area.... be carefull but yes i think u will have to get a slight tune... because of the exhaust. i upgraded mine from 2 1/2 inch, to three and used a slight tweak in the tune to get it just right again....

you run leaner with a full exhaust rather than open downpipe...you need a retune
