One more time! How do you calculate airflow so you can read a compressor map
ok a long long time ago i remember downloading an excell sheet that someone had up with CFM listed for different applications.. this is long since gona and now im learing for the second time to read a compressor map.. basically what i have is a partial formula from majesticturbo.com that lists the CFM formula which is:
i have the VE, CID, and RPM now all i need is the Density ratio.. the chart for that is illegible on the site so how do i find that # or another formula for CFM.. i understand you must then convert this # into lb/min too.
doing the math i get 202.63 * DR = CFM this is using 82% VE and 122 cid at 7k
