OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'M BOOSTED!!!!
I can't believe I didn't do this YEARS ago!!! I'm in love!! Everyone said, if you're excited now, wait till you hear the bov...WOW!!!!
We turned over the engine, let it run for awhile, checked for leaks, etc. Took it out, heard the BOV (drool), brought it back, checked again for leaks. Nothing. As of right now, the car is running perfect, no leaks, just a little bit of smoke from the manifold cooking off. Checked the oil, thats looking good.

another thing, re-check all the bolts after a few days or so, all the bolts will prolly come a lil loose as it's trying to break in...

Exactly, I rechecked all the bolts when we came back, and I'm going to recheck all this week. Austin's coming over here to check it out, lol.

I rememberd the first time I hit boost, I was with Direp972, been awake for two nights..running open downpipe..
took it to the drive way, oil splatter everywhere, so we fixed the oil feed into the turbo..
then I took it for a drive with Direp972...
when we got back to his house, he was like, " I smell fuel, really really bad ", I was like, nah, I am running rich, that's why..he goes " nah dude, I am SMELLING fuel, you're dumping fuel somewhere"..
sure enough, I left a trails of fuel all over the alley and to his drive way..the fuel return from the FMU came off...
memories, memories, memories...

hahahaha, ur are lucky GSRgrrl, most peoples cars never start and run perfect the first time they turn the key. good job on the install, i looked threw the pics on the other thread and Welcome to the Darkside!

that's the truth, I just started it up today and it wouldn't start. Turned out to be the btm so I disconnected it and reconnected the stock coil wires. Then it started, but it got stuck at part throttle. Turned out that I forgot to remove the rag that I stuffed into the throttle body!!!! 
Got that out now probs, and boosted for the first time!!!

LOL Thank you!! Yeah, remember this install took around 3-4 weeks, if you can believe that. Everything we did was carefully planned out, researched heavily, etc. We could have just dumped the turbo into the car in one day, but like I told Dion and a few people on here: I'd rather have the car running perfect from waiting a little longer than do it all at once and having the car blow up.
And being excited and yelling OMG the first time boosting is a car person thing rather than a girl thing, I'm pretty sure. Depends on the place and time.
