Run open downpipe, get better charge/ic pipe, ditch the fmu

stock exhuast really needs to go, it's a huge restriciton. Dump the cat, get a test pipe, you'll notice a huge difference. What boost was this at, and exactly how big is your small exhuast piping. Don't give up yet

why should i ditch the fmu? it can't hurt can it? well the piping is a decent size but it's not mandrel bent so it does curves and it's sooooooo small like u can't imagine less then 2" i wanted to run open d/p but they dyno was gettin ready to close and i wanted at least 3 runs...plus i had to work with my safc

thats impossible. I have never ever seen a honda make more torqe then hp. You cant do that cause of the small disp. hi reving motors. Something wasnt right with the dyno...

ditch the fmu run 440's and a afc 2.5'in dp is good unless you wana spend the loot on a 3in. those numbers look like what a stock b18b does. hrmm should have run a open dp on the dyno would have seen a huge jump

Usually happens when your exhaust is restrictive. It has something to do with backpressure, and not being able to spin freely on the top-end. Very common on V-8's. This is the idea behind the WRC restrictor plate engines I believe.

I find this statement quite amusing. My lil' bro's D16 greddy has more tq. than hp. Also, my NA, cammed B20 does as well.

That seems really/abnormally low for a b18b with a turbo. Just doesn't seem right. Sure exhausts are a huge factor when tuboing....but the car isn't even breaking 150hp ??

Id like to see any of your guys dyno charts. Id bet they are all wacked out. It just doesnt happen like that. I still hold my statment!!!

I mean, your telling me a turbo kit on a b18b is only good for 145hp??? I do beleive what your saying is the truth but I dont beleive that the test procedures were done correct. Im not sure any of you guys understand how a dyno works or figures out hp. Hp is figured by torqe. In a small disp. motor that revs high...its not gonna happen. I mean unless you didnt rev the car past 5,300rpms then it wont happen like this. Can someone post dyno charts???
