OK we all want a hondata setup. but who wants to pay $200 for the harness, let make one here!!
Ok im in for saving a bit of money here and also helping everyone else do the same. When i get home tonight I plan to post the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness here online. I think i have most of this right so far. The diagrams i used where from mitchell on demand 4. and the diagrams are from a 2000civic si and a 95 civic ex, I hope this is write, i found all the conections that have to be made but one or 2. I hope some one can go over this and see if they are all right or if i missed any. I understand people are selling these for money and that cool but if i have the time and the parts which I do I would rather make my own and help others do the same. Ill put this stuff up at 6pm when i get off work. lets save some cash. honda-tech is the onstop place for hacks so let get this one together. thans

I make harnesses and I've got them all plotted out already. Ask me nice and I'll email the charts to you.

ok this is what i did to get mine. i just went to a junk yard where they have a stack of ecus. and just found a honda one, well the guy at the junk yard just cut the plugs off the harness instead of unpluging them so i just bought the plugs for 5buck for the 3 then i got the obd2 socket from an ecu from ebay. now with a hookup from a good guy thanks INLINEFOUR i can make one my self. holla!!!

I was going to go check out mitchell tomorrow, for a diagram of 94 si plugs. I need to get my p28 into my 90 civic so my vtec will activate. do you already have a diagram for that application? I have the computer, plugs(I bought the whole car for parts wrecked) and a dx computer to rip apart for the other side. any help would be appreciated.

While we are on the subject of ECU plugs, does anybody happen to have a plug that connects a harness to the IACV? This is a two pin on a 96 Civic, I assume most of these are the same as long as they are two pin..?

i think it's best to not go through the hassle, pay someone, get a clean harness, and have no problems. what if you wire one wrong? what if you cause some major damage? wouldn't this cost more then if you just spent around 200 the first time around and got it much faster? i dont think the run around would be worth it. i'm not saying don't do it, but just take some consideration. there are lots of smart people out there, but there are also some of the other.
