is it ok to run no BOV (open flange) during break for no boost
ive been wondering this for awhile now. for break in can i put the turbo on and just take my bov off so ill never boost??? or will this over rev the turbo or something???? thanks

The turbo is gonna spin past it's limits and blow because there will be no load on it

Yup, it'll over-rev the turbo. Are you running internal wastegate? If so then you could rig the wastegate flapper to stay all the way open. If it's external gate, you could just take the gate off I guess. Would be pretty loud and mike get your engine bay nasty.

yeah i heard that works too, something about some tuners taking out the WG spring so they can tune the off boost tables...
