Default Ok.. getting turbo put on.. Need opinions on setup (newbie)

I have a 99 Civic Si, stock internals for the moment:

Turbonetics T3/T04e .58 trim
RevHard Manifold
Tial WG
Godzilla BOV
Spearco I/C
HOndata 3b
550cc injectors
Walbro 195lph pump

The guy doing the install is recommending 10 psi daily on this setup. I know that the stock internals will bite the dust eventually, so I'm already trying to line up an LS block to get sleeved. I thought this was kinda high for a daily driver/weekend racer setup.. Any opinions on how long the stock intenals will last?

Thanks in advance

What's wrong with 7 or 8 psi? Should be plenty fast.

Or are you trying to beat that red RX7 with the hidden nos again?

7-8 psi should be fast enough for ya for now. Enjoy 7-8 psi first, then when you get bored of it or get bitting by the speed bug like most of us then go higher boost. Offcourse higher boost= more money! Lots of it!

Get the 255lph pump. It is only like $10 more, and you really shouldnt skimp on fuel components.

Thanks for the input guys... any estimated HP numbers at 6-8 psi? The guy tuning it is very competent, and suprises me everytime I talk to him.. He's doing this all for around $4k, installed and dyno tuned!!

In fact, he's building his 800hp DSM right now as well.. runs 31psi and 100 shot
