Oil return location on 4 bolt t3/t4

Oil return location on 4 bolt t3/t4
I was doing a test run through of all my parts, just fitting everything together the other night to make sure all the parts piece together properly. Then i noticed, my oil return is facing the same direction as the exhaust inlet.
Now, from my limited knowledge, the return is a gravitational return to the oil pan, something's wrong here.... or am i just a noob and this is normal? (first turbo project so its possible im just a n00b )

Just loosen the bolts around the center section, and spin it to your desired position, and tighten it back up.

yup! its called clocking the turbo. Make sure you dont miss any when re-tightening them.

k, cool... is there any torque specs that i should follow or just tighten the bastards real tight?
