Default Oil restrictor in the supply line?

I got my 19T Greddy kit on my 93 Civic with a Z6. I put the supply line right on the back of the block where the oil pressure sending unit is using the tuner toys adapter fitting. Works fine, but oil is leaking from the clamp that holds the cartridge together on the turbo. I called the shop that rebuilt the unit and they said I am overflowing the turbo with oil and pushing oil past the seals. He reccomends a -3 restrictor inline with the supply. I SWEAR the Greddy kits don't use restrictors, so why is it needed in this case? Can anyone confirm this or better yet scan the Greddy installation instructions so I can check the parts list and all. This kit was pieced together, not bought new.
