Well I have a low oil pressure problem and after hours of trying to figure it out I think its my oil pan or pickup.

Has anyone measured the clearances on an LS pan with the LS oil pickup? I can't seem to find this spec. anywhere however other cars show as much as 0.5".

I dont know the spec but I clay'd my clearance once and it was about half an inch. I wouldnt worry about the clearance unless the pan's dented.

Hmm okay.

The funny thing is the pan IS dented and its such a small dent that its hard to see however you can feel it. I think it just happens to be in the RIGHT spot though. If this isn't the source of my oil pressure problems I'm baffled. Thanks for your help!
