Default oil looks milky....????

ok heres the deal....i ran turbo on my ls for like a few days till i found out the turbo i had was blown....we pulled the turbo put a new one and pulled the head for my built one and the oil was milky....we changed the oil and ran the car...it ran perfectly fine, did a compression test and had flying numbers across that were good....did a leak down test to find it milky again...u think its cracked sleeve or something with the water loose??????

Sounds like a blown HG, are you losing coolant? I would say possibly a sleeve sunk or your head needs to be milled. Hope you figure it out...

head was just thrown on yesterday and was resurfaced be4 installation?

1) Did you check the deck of the block?

2) What head studs/bolts are you using? Did you torque them in the criss cross pattern and to specs?

3) In case you are running OEM head bolts, you are not supposed to re-use them due to bolt stretch. I've heard of a few people getting away with reusing them but then again I've had issues with reusing stocks many years ago.

yea; i blew a hg in 3 days because of reused bolts
they suck; invest in a set of arp studs and you won't be sorry
