Default Is this oil line bent too much?



Will this cause a problem? If so, do i need one of these:

how big is your oil drain,to me it looks like the fitting you are wanting to use is to small.that will cause oil to build up in the line and come out either side or both.is oil coming out of the turbo now,if not i would not worry about it.

It doesnt look to bad, you shouldnt have a problem. Although the second pic you showed would be best.

I havn't started the car yet, I'm still finishing up some things. and that pic is just an example, if i were to get it i'd get the right size. Where's a cheap place to get some Earl's type fittings?

Looks ok in the picture, but in my experience the hose may collapse a bit more when heated. I solved it by bending a section of metal tubing to the correct angle and inserted it into the hose at the bend. Has been working just fine for me, but getting another fitting seems more appropriate.

For tight radii like that, you might want to consider Aeroquip's Starlite line or Goodridge's G-lineXF 811 series. The hoses have soft outer braids and convoluted teflon inner liners for greater flexibility. It's expensive stuff tho.

Ask Stan about the 811 series. He might stock some of that stuff.
