Default oil leak black box

just rebuild my motor........put it on.now i have oil leaking from my black box in the back.............what could be the cause of this need help............leaking like crazy.........

its the breather box in the back of the block.................leaking like crazy.......

when ever you turn motor on......it will leak like crazy............like oil just squirting out of tha breather box

In for some info..my car does this after i beat on it...oil just leaks out of there a little

either the o ring where the box enters the block and or the weld is cracked at the tubular end that goes into the block, had that happen on my friends itr. must be the high revs

This is way leaking like there's a oil pump right there squriting oil out please help now iam stuck

i never heard of breather box squriting oil out......is there another fitting near that area that has oil travel........i rember there only one..which is the oil sending unit....please help..............can't start my car becuz of this.................

found out what the problem was..............my builder flip flop the headgasket......call him up......told him what it was doing........told me the check the headgasket........and i notice..........the number is not showing on the left side of the motor.........seem he flip flop the headgasket.......stupid..now hes goind to replace everything again...........what can go wrong to the internal engine if the headgasket is flip............did not really start it up.........just crank with the dizzy off.........will that effect the engine............

Usually the oil will drain down the 4 large holes that connect the head to the crankcase. That breather is connected to one of those passages. Usually you just get zero seal around that, and oil flows right out. I'd imagine if it was sitting right and the other passages were slightly blocked, it would all pour right down that passage.

All he'd have to do is clean off the outside, slap a new HG on it, and call it a day - assuming you didn't beat on the motor yet, or ran it dry. It shouldn't have hydrolocked the motor. If you can still turn the motor, it should be fine.

And for a builder putting the HG on wrong. That's an amature mistake.
