Oil Feed off Oil Pump
Z10 Products seles a little fitting thingymajig that alows you to run the oil feed directley from the oil pump. Would this be better than off of the oil sending unit?

Re: Oil Feed off Oil Pump (BLK94RS)
I think I heard peeps talking about this recently. Only problem would be the turbo is getting unfiltered oil from that point.

Re: Oil Feed off Oil Pump (WykidEG6)
TUrbo's only need about 10-12 PSI at the max... it might just be bettr for th turbo to have a good bit less pressure than the motor? <shrug>

Re: Oil Feed off Oil Pump (SiR Kid)
you know, I'm going crazy on this. I bought the Z10 fitting. Damn you have to take the alternator off to get to the fitting and i decided not to use it cause you have no filter for your oil then.
I talked to majestic and they said don't worry about the oil pressure to the turbo with a -4 AN line since the hondas make at most 80psi and that still wont blow a turbo. Then other say you need a restrictor. Can't seem to get an answer as to where to get one of those either!
Someone have a reasonable answer here???
I now have my oil coming teed off the oil sending unit behind the block and have my oil pressure gauge on the fitting near the vtec solenoid. I may take it off there and put it teed on the inlet to the turbo so I can see the pressure to the turbo at all times. Is that a good idea???

Yeah GruvyTune, tee it into the line that runs to the turbo. That way you'll know if there is a oil problem right at the turbo. This turbo stuff isn't as easy as they made it sound in the pamphlet!!!!
