oil feed line leak....hondabond?
when installing i researched on here everyones opinions on teflon tape, hondabond, liquid teflon, etc. i ended up using liquid teflon, and it began to leak from the bspt adapter from the block when i first started the car yesterday. i took it all apart, and am debating just to put hondabond on it. i read a few opinions on it messing up the threads, but i just want to fix it properly. opinions please.
i need this fixed before tuning on friday....
thanx.

no, only cause it's such an awkward place, but maybe i'll go that route. you recommend over hondabond?

I know this is not what you are asking BUT the Golden Eagle sandwich adapters work the best. If you can afford to invest in one they are about $85ish plus you get filtered oil to the turbo.
Just a suggestion.
I never ever had problems with the oil sending unit hole and the T fitting though, I always used Teflon tape with no issues
Good luck

Re: (Boostfed.com)
well, i put it back together about an hour ago. i went w/ hondabond. if it leaks again, then teflon tape it'll be. i am running a line to the firewall btw, not a "t" off the block.
yeah, back when i was gathering parts(2 yrs ago), i had looked at the sandwich adapters. i can't really say why i chose this route. i never gave the filtered thing a thought....
i guess i learned something, thanx for all the help.
