Is the oil feed connector on the GReddy kits BSPT or NPT?
...I searched, but did not find an answer anywhere
I've got the 92-95 SOHC VTEC GReddy turbo kit on my 90 CRX + ZC block
I used the oil feed line that came with the kit (it seemed to fit fine)
And I've got a small oil leak between the back of the block and the oil feed connector.
I did some searching on H-T this weekend, and found out our blocks are BSPT at the stock oil pressure sensor.
I'm just wondering ... does the GReddy oil feed line have BSPT or NPT connectors?
One thing that I (stupidly) forgot to do was to use teflon tape on the connection (I was in a hurry to get the thing boosted), but now that I have time, I want to go back in and do it RIGHT.
If the GReddy line is indeed BSPT, then I'll just put in some teflon tape or teflon-enhanced sealer and pray that prevents future leaks.
If it's NPT, then I'll try one of Stan's BSPT-NPT adapters.
Thanks guys...so much useful information on this board. I'm addicted!

Re: Is the oil feed connector on the GReddy kits BSPT or NPT? (Flamenco-T)
Don't even worry about what it actually is. It looked like npt to me. I compared my friends greddy to my NPT and they looked identical, but anyways- we tefloned (tape!) both my npt fitting and his greddy fitting and neither leak. Teflon is the way to do it.

Thanks Stan and Johnyquest -- dang you guys are fast responders!
Ok, when I get home from work tonight, I'm going to try using teflon tape and take the CRX out for a spin. Will update post tonight.
Stan, I'll call GReddy regardless and see what they say. I spent a lot of hours searching H-T this weekend, and didn't find an answer posted anywhere.
Thanks guys
