down pipe will be routed under the oil pan so I was thinking of putting it right behind the down pipe at the highest level possible

with one 45 pointed sideways to the pan and the other sideways and upward toward the turbo

I located mine here but I had to relocate it 3 times to clear my downpipe.

contact stan because I think you should change out your male to male with a 45 swivel.

i put mine in the skinnier part of the pan, over to the left looking at it. no ned to worry about DP clearances.

so does anyone else agree with the skinny mounting point?

That is what I was going to go with first but was told differently by the performance shop in my area.

If it's not to late; it's FAR easier if you mount the turbo the other way. Then the DP, charge pipe and oil drain don't cross. and you can just throw an air filter on the turbo in most cases.

ya the skinny part is fine.

well I thought most turbo kits have the compressor on the passenger (left hand side) or the engine bay?
