Default oil drain does it have to be S.S.?

my turbo kit is ready to install but it came with the high temp rubber hose. Everyone has stainless steel lines, are they really neccesary.

I already have the flanges on the turbo and a matching one to be welded to the oil pan to clamp down this hose.

do i really need the 75 drain kit?

You dont NEED the SS lines, you can use the rubber hoses. The SS lines are just alot stronger then the rubber, the rubber lines can obviously be cut easier.

I run regular high temp rubber hose. You should use S.S. if you're running the hoses close to the down pipe

you wont have leaks with the SS line...but with the high temp ruber bs, that clamps onto the pipe....you will get leaks there.

Some people run the rubber, but it's not worth it IMO. Think about how bad an oil leak can be....... Now compare the cost of Stainless Oil lines to a motor

It's your call, your car, but I wouldn't feel comftorable doing it. If it's the $ your worried about my suggestion is find somewhere else in your setup to save the $75.

Better safe than sorry.
