Sputtering at 8k
I just redid my head and put it back on my car while tunning the car I noticed that I can't get pass 8k RPM.
Here is my set up
00 ITR
Rods n pistons Gt35 turbo 750cc injectors AEM EMS
Could this problem be with my ITR cams?
Please help

Re: Sputtering at 8k
Could be anything.
Start by making sure the ignition timing is properly set & air fuel ratios are not too rich or lean when this issue is occuring.
Then try new plugs gapped down to the proper gap.
Then try another distributor/coil assembly etc.

Re: Sputtering at 8k
Checked all the basics new wires new plugs gap at 20
Cap and rotor
My tuner told me he has seen this before so he replaced my ITR cams with B16 cams and now it's smooth all the way. I was able to get 396hp at 12pounds of boost on pump gas
