oil in BOV! and turbine! and piping!
sup all! to keep everyone updated, since i found oil in my BOV i have also found oil inside the piping before the intercooler and oil before the turbine( the side that sucks in air). i have also check the charge pipe to the intake manifold but theres not oil there. ive been told to change the turbine and that my seals are messed up. my question is ....WHAT CAN I DO? can i just change the seals? or do i have to change the whole turbine? can i change the seal myself? or do i have to bring it to a shop.
oh and i was using fully synthetic mobil 1 5w-30 since the turbo install and recently changed to 10w-30 if that matters.
please post if you ever experienced this kind of problem or have any suggestions. thanks!

You can just do the seals yourself, just make sure you mark the angular position of the compressor wheel when you take it off and put it back on the same way so the balance isn't off.
Turbonetics sells rebuild kits for $80 or so, might as well do the bearings while you're in there (assuming it's a journal bearing type not a ball bearing).

seals
don't worry if there is just a little film of oil, if you are getting drops then i would replace the seals
i would also have a shop do it because you know it will be done right
cheapturbo.com rebuilds for $250, including balancing, seals, etc.
