I got a reply from Doug @ Hondata and he said he would check out this thread.

have you heard back from doug yet?
also, to check continuity did any of you guys have to cut/strip the wires at the injectors to get a signal? what did you use? thanks.

I just removed the cover on the distribution block and stuck the the red stick in there and the black one on the injector clip.

No need to strip. Just take off the injector clip and put one side in the clip (Yello/black wire side) and the other in the distribution block until it reads on the voltmeter (or beeps like mine does).

just got done checking continuity tonight. mine are exactly the same as hondata's website. hmmm, maybe it is different between different models? anyone wanna help figure this out? anyways, i am on an vtec harness (ex). what about everyone else? and if there is nothing related to the different models, **** it, check continuity, it only takes 5 minutes (10 if you are slow like me). cuz if i can do it, anyone can.

back from the dead, but i think thats what mine looked like...but my guess, is they are all joined to a +12v ignition, the people who make the connector dont put them in any particular order.

You have lost me completely. You don't need a power source for the resistor pack.
</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is also for DropSquadCivic + H23vtecEG:
The power source is what is hooked up to the red wire (the 4 injector hot wires) and the resistor box limits the current that flows from the hot, to the 4 injectors. The ECU GROUNDS the injectors to fire them, in sequence, so i beleive.

No, and I have several. PM me for an unfair price.

Re: (slashDEVslashNULL)
Sorry, I don't quite follow. I am going to be doing this soon and I want to make sure I don't screw it up. Tell me if I am right with the following. I take a wire from the distribution block, and find the injector it corresponds to. Then I solder one wire from the resistor box inbetween right? Like basically a tap. Does a certain wire on the resistor box go to a certain injector wire? or does it not really matter? Once I have that done, what do I solder the 5th wire to? Thanks

Re: (n1neb4ll)
are all honda resistor boxes the same? if so, a pinout chart would be of great help!
edit: nm! i should have done more research! http://hondata.com/techinjectorwiring.html (chart is said to be wrong)

Its simple...once you find the 4 blk/yel injector wires, cut them, then the red wire from the box is soldered together with the 4 wires coming from the ecu or main harness from the inside of the car, and the other 4 wires from the box are soldered to the yel/blk wires leading to the injectors(one wire from the box to one wire for an injector)

Re: (ph8ed4life)
so it doesn't matter which wire is soldered to which wire, just that all 4 wires from the ecu are soldered to ONE wire (one wire connected to all 4 wires) and then the other 4 wires are soldered to the injector wires (can be totally random if you want) correct?
