READ THIS
the topic is archived but you will actually hear a lot of good stuff about the manifold based on people who had it and a lot of other people who just hate OBX. you can actually give it a try if you wanted to, enough good stuff said in that thread. but when it came down to deciding for myself, I passed. that 40mm wastegate flange on there was a disadvantage and the manifold was just too shiny.

we had one on an obd2 teg, it put down good numbers, close to 300 wheel if i remember, fitment was ok, i really didnt see anything too bad with it, but given their track record, i opted not to use them.

You should search for "OBX MANIFOLD" and "SSAC MANIFOLD" and that will tell you all you need to know..

And a quick answer to your question is, they are junk..

Everyone talks about doing stuff on a budget, but you must have a big budget if instead of doing it right the first time you have enough money to do it twice..

Are you talking about OBX or SSAC? There far from the same.
Please post pics and tell us where you got it from.

Post pics and tell us where and when you bought it!
I have yet to hear of one of these new thicker ones actually cracking let alone in 10 places. Maybe you have there old manifold or maybe you dont even have OBX at all you had SSAC. To tell you the turth I honestly dont believe you had this exact manifold and it cracked in 10 places.

ignore the people that just bash on OBX. like i said, click that link i had earlier and you'll find that people who actually USED the manifold, like it a lot and worked good for them. to straighten things up, we are talkin about the OBX manifold here. the ssautochrome ramhorn manifold is garbage and people posted pics of it but the OBX one turned out to be a good manifold. i don't really recommend the OBX manifold but there are enough stories to prove they are worth the money. so go ahead and try it.

i had a sssc, and it cracked everywhere, ssac is trash, i woulnd buy one if you put a gun to my head, i just got a mini me love fab, and when you see them up and close, you realize the difference, i hve never seen the obx, but i heard they are ok, dont really know... id say save an extra 300 bux and get a love fab... my 2 little cents...

i looked. The only one they have is the normal one i'm used to seeing. In the link that was posted they had pictures of a Ramhorn style one for a b-series and there was talk that they made them for the d-series also.

Just seeing if it was true as i'm shopping for a d-series manifold right now and $350 for a Ramhorn that doesn't crack would be a deal.
