OBD2 to OBD1 Conversion
 
What is necessary to do this conversion. Just the wire harness and ECU or do I have to get an OBD1 distributor too?

I just did it on my car, all you need is a conversion harness and an obd1 ecu.

does it matter which ecu i get? i have a d16y7. can i use p28?

if ur runing a none vtec motor such as a d16y7 then yes
