OBD1 GSR TURBO HESITATE? - SOLUTION TO H22A PROBLEMS
can the gsr owners help me out. the ones running obd1 gsr stock ecus with turbo set-ups. do you guys experience hesitation like the obd2 h22a owners seem to have. please descirbe your set-up and what performance you're getting.
f the performance is good this may be a quick fix to the h22a problems. then i would convert to obd1 to get rid of hte hesitation.
please, can anyone help with this. i can't take the hesitation anymore.

What hesitation are you talking about? When does it occur? Low end? VTEC activation? Be more specific.

One of the causes of hesitation is that under low throttle openings the car can develop boost. The Honda is also running in closed loop leaning the fuel, just when you want more. The switch to open loop happens at about 24% throttle.
Hondata systems are reprogrammed to fix this by switching to open loop above atmospheric pressure.
Check out closed loop on http://Hondata.com/tech.html
