Obd 1 integra ls w/greddy turbo
I installed the kit on my integra a few days ago. I was told that the car should run fine even though the kit is designed for the obd2 cars. The car does run fine, but the only problem is that during WOT above 6k rpm, the car sets a 16-1 code and shuts off fuel, just like the stock rev limiter. I called greddy and they gave me a hard time about it, but told me that I needed injectors with the right resistance and an e-manage, since the blue box isn't compatible. Has anyone run into this problem? CODE 16-1 is "injector control malfunction" I am hoping that I can run some resistors in parallel with the injectors so the computer will see the correct resistance. Thanks for any tips.

had the same exact problem/setup on my car....Got the same responce from the greddy techs...Do yourself a favor and run an safc/440 injectors and be done with it..I will even give u the exact fuel settings u need if you choose to do this setup...BTW, I spent more money and time with buying the e-manage, and still had the same b/s results....The e-manage and the blue box will not work with your set-up...end of story...Take it from me or go through what I went through...

was your car obd1? Your name has 99 in it, that is why I am asking. I thought emanage is for all cars. My friend even has it on a cavelier and it works fine.

Hey 99ls I emailed you for advice. I may go with the apexi SAFC. Anyone have bad experience with that? Does it tap into the same wires as the greddy emanage and blue box do?

i dont THINK there is a difference in resistance between obd1 and obd2 injectors. both obd1 and obd2 are high resistant injectors....

And no the safc does not hook up the same as the e-manage...It is very easy to hook up though..approx 6 wires w/o vtec....
