NY inspection w/turbo....

hey... Im contemplating buying a turbo for my 1994 Integra LS. I live in long island NY. the only thing that is really bothering me is.. how am i going to get my car inspected. Will i have to take the turbo out to pass emmisions? if anybody lives in NY and can help me out .. i appreciate it .. thanks guys

Just got mine inspected month ago, upstate doesn't run active emmisions (I'm not sure about the city, can't believe they would be different
