Default NXS Cheap but reliable?

Ive been looking into the nxs manual boost controller and so far ive read some good things about it. What does Honda tech think about it before i buy it? Ill be running a t3 garrett turbo on my jdm d15b prolly on 7 or 6 psi. Would it hold boost well? Last me a while?

I bought one recently, but haven't had a change to try it yet. Once I do, I can report back. It will probably be a few weeks

You don't need a boost controller for 6-7 psi. Just run off the wastegate.

You can't. Not without another wg actuator and arm. Only other option is to upgrade and purchase a new turbo.

wrong, you can remove the internal wastegate and run and aftermarket one like tial. if you get a tial wastegate you can order the spring at any psi that you want.

Well..
1. I just got this turbo.. its the t3 garrett said looked like from a saab. I got it for steals no shaft play for 265 with intercooler, apexi bov, 450cc dsm injectors and down pipe. So i dont want to buy another one..
2. Hi shodan, is the nxs a good boost controller? looks like they have been selling a lot.

Never heard of them. I pretty much stick with Hallman or even some models of TurboXS for manual boost controllers. Just because something is sold a lot doesn't mean its great; a lot of times it just means its cheap to purchase

I think the Hallman ES is the cheapest one you gonna get thats gonna be reliable. Remember, a boost controller is not something you wanna take chances on or assume it will work good.
