Number stamped on compressor outlet, what does it mean?
My garrett turbo from the MaxRev gb arrived and I was inspecting it and was wondering : There was a .50 stamped on the side of the compressor outlet. Is this the a/r ratio or the wheel trim?
Either way I think I was sent the wrong one because I asked for a 57 trim 0.60 a/r Does it make a big difference between a 0.50 and a 0.60 a/r for the compressor side? I remember a/r was more significant for either the turbine or comp, can't remember which one!
I'll try to get pics to illustrate this in a few days (its sitting at a shipping depot)
