noobie to turbo?
being unsatisfied with the current power of my 2001 gsr, I've been deciding on various methods of making it quick. I was pretty much set on jrsc (btw where can i get a killer deal on that) but then i saw on group buy center that they are selling the revhard turbo kit for 2600 shipped.
My questions are: Is this kit good? What upgrades if any listed on that group buy should i get? eg. tial wastegate, rc injectors, missing link, etc...
I don't know much about turbos. Is it recommended that a relatively newbie into the import scence turbo their car?
Is it a lot of hassle like a lot of people say that turboing a gsr is bad? You always hear turbo an ls, not a gsr.
What is the expected cost of install?
Would i be able to run this kit safely on stock internals? What psi does this kit run at stock level?
Thanks for all input

Re: noobie to turbo? (gsr01)
Honestly, we get a little burnt out on this question, its asked ALLOT. If you try a search i am sure that you will find all the info you want then some. Not being a dick, but every one has to do some of their own home work.

Searching the forum is a very good start. I'll try and help ya out, though.
From what I understand, the only thing you need with most kits is a set of gauges and intercooler (if not supplied). Talk to 2K TEG and Rocket for some deals on a good kit through http://www.ks-motorsports.com/ and http://www.hondasaver.com/ .
The install shouldn't be terribly difficult if you can use basic tools and common sense. Read this: http://www.cse.uconn.edu/~yelevich/turbo/turbo.html
And remember to do a search, there is a lot of information to be read in previous posts.
