NOOB How-To - Clocking A Turbo (mods/pro's please check)
My Turbo, When installed, made my outlet face straight into the block, and the oil return/feed to be paralell to the ground. not good. Soooo...being a noob, i thought i would try to rotate/clock it, and hopefully this thread will help out somebody else out. (And it gives me a chance to see if i am doing it right )
Note: will edit upon feedback. Please dont PM, as i am still a trial user *AHEM* mods *Cough...*
Remove hose attached to internal WG. (external gate skip this step)
Loosen the 6 bolts securing compressor housing. (internal WG remove all bolts)
Remove Pin/Clip holding WG arm to swingvalve, Then remove whole assembly (external gate skip this step)
Loosen the 6 bolts securing turbine housing. (both internal and external, just loosen)
Now twist assembly into desired positions. (Internal WG, Place mounting brackets back on with WG assembly to the same position it was before to connect to swingvalve. Put screws and pin back on.)
When you have it to the correct positions, Tighen Bolts.
Internal Gates, Reattach Hose.
Any comments? Suggestions? Feedback?
EDIT: Sorry Pictures Are Crap. Taken With A Cell-Phone

no need to torqued them down very tight, you will less likely be able to use torque wrench anyway. Tighten it and then do another 1/4 of a turn, and you'll be set.

You forgot the "STRUGGLE LIKE HELL" to get the exhaust side off. This is the biggest bitch to do in the world. Is there any simple way to do this?
Otherwise good write up. If i wouldn't have done it already, i'd be reading this

Re: NOOB How-To - Clocking A Turbo (Street_Kings)
damn... I don't know how some ppl get away with a simple twist with their turbos..
I had to take the exhaust side housing completely OFF 'cause there was NO WAY I could just twist it where I wanted.. it was a bitch to put back in, too. I just hope everything goes fine when I install and run it...
Good for you tho, and nice write up

its a public domain server...4 other people use it to upload pics. I just deleted some of the stuff on there that i was told was no longer needed, and uploaded mine. HOWEVER, one of the other guys used the server to post **** to HondaHookUp, So if you viewed that post it may be in your cache. Sorry! will rename files/edit post tommorow.
EDIT: Im sure a few of you didnt mind the picture that some of you are seeing tho
